Custom data analysis and data mining for systems biology

GeneGo’s team has expertise in functional analysis of OMICs datasets and chemistry data related to disease biology, pharmacogenomics, toxicigenomics and compound profiling which is being applied to custom projects and internal research programs at GeneGo. We now offer customized data mining/systems biology and wet lab pre-clinical and clinical omics experimentation services on a project basis to selected customers. Our services include dry lab and wet lab projects such as:

Dry lab

• Parsing, normalization and complete functional analysis of customers’ OMICs data in the view of particular disease and/or drug response area
• Identification and prioritization of therapeutic targets and biomarkers in the content of pathways and networks
• Compound profiling, hit and lead prioritization
• Generation of project-specific knowledge base including literature analysis, integration of published and proprietary omics and chemistry data mining

Wet lab

Custom Annotation for Data Mining Applications

We offer custom annotation projects in multiple areas of drug discovery and development. The projects are run by GeneGo’s team of over 40 PhD full time annotators extensively trained in data mining / collection and annotation, following proprietary annotation techniques and workflows. GeneGo is known to implement the industry’s most stringent quality control procedures and. Examples of annotation projects include:

• Collection, structuring and formalization of specific information on diseases, compounds, protein classes etc. from published literature and patents
• Generation of specific pathway maps and networks for diseases, drug mechanism of action and off-target effects etc. for systems biology
• Data integration with a customer’s version of MetaCore™/MetaDrug™ or in format defined by a customer

Software customization for Systems Biology

GeneGo provides services for integration and customization of our products, including seamless connectivity with internal informatics environments and integration with third-party packages and databases. Projects are priced on an FTE basis.
